I know it may sound weird, but it is a mandatory time for me to decompress, be outside (y’all, it’s almost December in Louisiana and look how I’m dressed!!!), chat with kids I teach and those I don’t, smile at parents, breathe the fresh air, and connect with my colleagues who are in the same spot as me! 👗 What do YOUR duty spots look like? Creating spaces where all gender identities are honored, celebrated, empowered, and lifted up, is URGENT work. 🏳️‍🌈 I am grateful for the work that Abelardo does and the countless other people I learn from on a weekly basis on this platform and others.
